SUZIO Vol VI: Virgen Maria, Safety Trance, Florentino, Lechuga Zafiro

SUZIO’s final rave of the year is here.

Brace yourself for a night of alternative and forward-thinking Latin club sounds and its sonic sibling mixed by pioneers of the underground. From deconstructed guaracha to perreo anthems, expect the most unhinged, sexy vibes AS ALWAYS.

Summoned from Spain, we have the spiritual and sensual VIRGEN MARIA making her SUZIO debut. Returning to London for the first time since the dark ages [pandemic], she is ready to bring us the fusion of unapologetic hardcore and sexually charged reggaeton that we need. Virgen Maria loves being naked, and so do we at SUZIO. Worship has begun - let us perreo and pray.

Joining her is a trio of acts that only the Gods could have conjured to be in one room, juntos - FLORENTINO, LECHUGA ZAFIRO and SAFETY TRANCE.

Hailing from Venezuela, Safety Trance is the newly formed identity of Cardopusher - a legendary producer and long time collaborator of Arca. Starting in the breakcore/rave scene, his recent productions gravitated toward a more industrial type of sound fusing different genres from EBM, wave, hardcore, acid to techno and reggaeton. KLK!

All the way from Uruguay, Lechuga Zafiro’s experimental fusion of dance rhythms from South America and field recordings is entrancing like no other. He showcases the intricate and the energetic; moving deftly from baile funk to upbeat bass music to his own productions. Riiiiiibit.

The UK’s very own Florentino has had an explosive year, from dropping collabs with Shygirl to releasing his new EP “Kilometro Quinze” on XL Recordings; a record that truly demonstrates his incredible range as a producer. As a true dance music warrior, it’s guaranteed that his set will make you move. Vroooom.

Holding it down as usual amongst the chaos will be SUZIO’s residents: Manuka Honey, Baby Cocada, Architect, and c0sti. You know the drill.

Hot girls: Assemble.
